What started as an assignment for a Business Plan Report, turned into a fresh, promising handicrafts enterprise.
Shraddha Sareen, Founder, Armatuer says, “Between May 2014 and July 2015, I had time to travel to Paris, Napoli, Bangalore and Gurgaon- and my products traveled with me. Along the way I sold a number of pieces to acquaintances and friends of acquaintances. I realised that there is in fact scope for what I am wanting to sell and I needed a proper channel through which I could.In June 2015 I had started working with Zomato, my time after work used to go in building an Instagram store and gradually I tied up with logistics companies for COD and we were in business.”
The venture aims at giving artisans the space they deserve in the market and simultaneously providing their customers with utility for their product.
The current product range includes- Scarves, Bracelets, Earrings, Neckpieces, Rings, Lanterns and Candles. This year is set to witness the introduction of a number of new and exciting Armatuer merchandise.
The prices range from Rs. to 50 to Rs. 2000 highlighting the wide variety of products made available to the customers. The delivery of the orders typically takes 3 to 5 days, owing to the distance that is to be covered. A striking feature of Armatuer is that it ships all across India.
