The Royal Enfield Himalayan is undoubtedly one of the most anticipated bikes of 2016. Crafted especially for the Himalayas, this monster bike has a grounded stance, terrain tested suspension, dual purpose tyres combined with agile handling giving it the ability to handle any off road environment. The bike has a 220 mm of ground clearance which means crossing those bigger rocks, deep mud holes and rivers was never so easy. The bike boasts a huge 21” front wheel and a 17” rear wheel with amazing tread patterns suitable to tackle any rough off road conditions. The signature Enfield Engine has a good low end and midrange torque for the path obstacles and at the same time also supplies enormous top end power for free highway cruising.
Here is a video by Autocar India who tested this bike in rain, hail, snow, sub-zero temperatures with bone-jarring wind chill, off-road, on-road, clay-road, grass road and apparently no-road! Much power to the Himalayan!
